Dear Friends,

 I arrived home to receive several tragic emails that I am still digesting.  Susan Race, one of the very first coaches I met, who I got to know on a deep level, passed away suddenly in her home.  Susan was not only a good friend, she was a stellar coach, giving and loving person, bright and amazing entrepreneur and a Certified Personal Coach Trainer for The Coaching Institute and co-author of a book due out shortly.  Susan helped me organize a great event last year and we had a blast playing together.  We spent time together over the years as friends and business associates and I will also hold my memory of Susan in the highest light and am blessed to have been touched by her.

 Those of you who knew Susan Race I know will be celebrating this great woman's life and remembering her with loving memories and those who didn't get to experience Susan, believe me, she is deeply missed in the coaching community.

 This year the International Coach of the Year Award will re-named the Susan Race Coach of the Year Award on behalf of her excellence in this field.

Was having a quick look around the internet at various blogs and articles and with each additional groan about the economy, politics, ticket scalping in Beijing, mad psychopaths on buses, work overload, bullies, hardship and stress, stress and more stress... all I could do was shake my head.  Maybe on some level some of us do need to be aware of this stuff... but a daily diet of this isn't helping us, is it!

We want the world to be a beautiful, bountiful place for everyone, but look at what we're fed every day of the year!  How can anybody focus positively on such a negative diet of limitation, hardship and cruelty? 

I know, I know... "happy" news stories about lotto winners, flowers blooming, dogs fetching slippers, etc. don't sell newspapers, but maybe at the back of every newspaper should be a "happy" page, so that once you've read all the miserable, soul-shattering news, you can end it on a 'high'.  Wouldn't that be great? 

I got to thinking, and to do my bit for overall 'vibration lifting' I thought I'd give you something special... something uplifting... something to inspire and motivate... and something that is absolutely FREE.  See?  Just the thought of something free that inspires and motivates is making you feel better, already, isn't it!  The world CAN be a nicer place!
