When I made the decision to become a coach, family was deep in my heart.  As a stepmom, I just knew that I had to take a part in creating and sustaining strong families.  I know a lot about being in a stepfamily, and I know that I can be of service to so many people in this lifestyle.

But that wasn't enough...not yet.  I believe in families, strong families.  To me, that means preventing a need for stepfamily support.  My real calling was in preventing stepfamilies all together.  How do I do that?  I realized that my deepest desire is to support a couple before they are even married.  Help them to create their marriage on the right foot, the same page, so that divorce never has a chance to happen.

With this burn in my heart, I launched my Engage Your Goals program.  In this three month program, I facilitate the couple in expressing their short term and long term goals.  We see where they are on the same page and where they need to find alignment.  Through open communication, the couple will discover how to support each other, find that their goals do not have to match exactly, and they will begin to take the action steps that will create the concrete foundation of their new life together.
