About Me: Dreaming is my joy! I love learning and practicing new creative endeavors. Meeting new people and helping a person expand and deepen the perspective about who they are and what they can do is a joy for me. I am a late bloomer, a mother, grand mother, and aunt. I love to knit, sew and design special garments or craft items. Reading and learning more about people is fascination for me. For 23 years I worked as a social worker/theraptist and enjoyed watching people become empowered to live from their dream. I love coaching/mentoring and creating visualizations that touch the true place to open the 'true you'. Quantum Physics and MetaPhysics intrique me and I love reading and practicing to understand more. I am also meditating with an intent to connect more completely with my soul. She came in a vision some years ago as an African woman of power and stature dressed in a stunning orange and multicolored flowing mumu garment with corn-rowed hair and strong compelling eyes that pull you into her power. Music: My first love is classical music, especially Frans Liszt piano creations. Next I love movie themes, i.e., Sound of Music, A Summer Place, The King and I, Dancing In The Rain, and many Broadway Hits. I also love tango music and dancing the tango and other ballroom dances.
Movies: When it comes to movies I really enjoy romantic stories with depth. I grew up on western films and while they were interesting, I found I could predict the next event and the outcome. Great acting is always appreciated.
TV: I am not a great TV fan. Very little is being presented that has much interest. One show I do watch often is Numbers about the FBI and mathematicians. I really have little interest for the murder mystery aspect.
Books: I love books and reading. I read 3 or 4 books a month and usually I am reading several at the same time throughout the month or so. I am currently reading, Fred Alan Wolf, The Dreaming Universe; Carolyn Myss, Entering the Castle, Julia Cameron, The Vein of Gold; and I read books on business building, marketing, spiritual and personal growth. Once in a while I like a good novel, Ann Patchet is a writer who has an ability to touch personal relationhips and the spirit in all humans. Two of her books are: Bel Canto and The Magicians Assistant.
Likes: Good food is well liked as is also a great cup of tea or coffee. I especially like a wonderful luxurious bed for sleeping! I like sunsets and sunrises and great dreams in between. I love people who are serene, calm, energetic and passionate about what they are doing and becoming.
Dislikes: Well, yes, chaos comes to mind, but, I know chaos is the preliminary to new beginnings, new knowledge and new awareness. I am apposed to violence, to manipulation of children and 'brain washing' without anothers' consent.
Hobbies: I enjoy puzzles and the challenge. Other hobbies include: decorating, cooking new recipes, knitting, writing and painting.
Vices: At times puzzles are my vice, especially sudoku. Another vice is chocolate, although I do maintain a restaint on my urges. Eating everything on the plate is a vice in that I don't always need so much food.
Virtues: It is my intent to keep my thoughts on a clear, focused, present, positive and loving thoughts and visions. I am a healer and a source of energy for growth and awareness. My intent is to grow my life and also assist in others growing their lives. Thoughts are creative and feelings results from thoughts and images. My desire is to create wisely.
Heroes: Many of my heros are heroines. The primary heroine for me is Joan D'Arc. Eleanor Rossevelt is another. Jean Houston is another beautiful 'live large' woman of a broad range of talents. Helen of Troy is another heroine figure of achetype stature.

The New Year is well into January and February is rapidly approaching.  Much too rapidly!  It is just fine however, as that is how the Earth is turning and life is unfolding.  If it feels as if life is passing by faster and faster, then maybe it is that we are moving slower or maybe we are moving faster, or maybe we are thinking faster or maybe the solar system is changing speed or the Earth is changing? Yes, the Earth is changing.  We are making changes on our planet minute by minute.  The thing is we are not changing ourselves to keep up with our ideas, our technology and our life styles.  Keeping up! How do we do it?  Maybe what would be a better question is: How to we change and move toward becoming the person we know deep inside we can be?  When will we see the value in setting a standard based on what we really value?

Rather than looking at what everyone else is doing and doing more of it, what if we choose who our mentors are and who we want to role model based on what we passionately desire to achieve, wouldn't that be a real change in humaness?

Everyday we all win at something.  What do you want to win at today?  What do want to achieve?  What is your burning passionate desire to create, to become, to do, to have and add to the quality of your life along with all the people around you and in the world with you?  If you knew, really knew, that what you are thinking and feeling affects the planet you are a part of, what would you do different?  How would you set up your life?  How would you plan to spend your days?  How would you arrange the environment you live in?  How would you treat your body?  How would you relate to the people you share your life with?  How would you choose to use your energy?  How would you decide to use energy on the planet?

Now if you take these questions seriously and really write them down and write our your answers, you will see that your thinking, feeling, and choices affect the feelings, thoughts and choices of those around you.  We may think that thinking our own thoughts is who we are and yet, we know that if you really observe ourselves with those who are closely related or nearby, we all think in similar ways.  We can notice that it takes a great amount of energy to think in new ways and then act on those thoughts.  But if we think new thoughts with others who also want to think new thoughts and we join in sharing our new thoughts with each other, we will find it takes less energy to act on our new thoughts than it does when we think we are alone.  Now just think about that!   And then take the action to write your thoughts, then share your thoughts and then put your plan into action.  Go forth!  With Much Love, Arielette
